At Christmas time, everyone gets excited about browsing the malls for special gifts. Credit cards are swiped and the names are ticked off the list. Keep in mind that most gifts will be re-gifted, so gift receipts go with the items into the festive bags.
Some people are smart enough to write the name of the giver on the gift, while others might forget and the next year the gift ends up under the giver's tree with only a new tag on the bag. When it comes to certain folk, one might even get the previous tag cut off where the name once was.
Many grandparents have to keep the daughter-in-law's in mind when choosing gifts for the grandchildren. When the grandchildren are not old enough to get a gift card for their favourite store, and still at the age where unwrapping is a fun part of gifting, shoes or another sweater might bring disappointment to their faces. Grandparents do not have to attach a gift receipt to the ball, but they might consider buying an extra one when the grand children come to visit. Including items from home is a great idea to make infants, toddlers and kids feel more comfortable and at home away from home.
