DIY Photo Idea for a Girl's First Birthday Party

It's the big day and you want to make her feel special and extra cute.

What little girl doesn't like to dress up, be it in a Boston Bruins onesie that her grandpa gave her for Christmas, or a super frilly tutu? Schedule the professional photo shoot before the party to ensure that the photographs will be ready in time. Please check with your photographer and make sure that you receive your memories well in advance.

IDEA: Create unique sayings and frame it...

Step 1: Purchase frames at your DIY store, cut paper that will go with the theme and paste it onto the frame. If you have more time and feel super creative, bedazzle to your heart's content.

Step 2: Create sayings on the actual photo using photo software (tons of free ones on the web).

Step 3:  Print the photographs with the saying and place them in the frames.

Bonus Step: Put all the photographs (without the sayings) in an album for the guests to see.

Reusables

With all the parties that you will have for the kids, Christmas, family get togethers etc. it is wise to invest in reusable party plates. Make sure your guests know where to put their used cutlery, plates and cups. This frame can be hung on top of a large plastic container.

Favours

Everyone feels appreciated with a party favour. Our party was close to the first day of spring. Purchase some fun bubbles for the kids and chocolate for the adults. If you're able to find tulips or daffodils, they will make a lasting, green favour for the whole family to enjoy.

Cake Display

Cupcakes are always a hit. Add some cake pops and girly cookies to complete the look.

Aren't these super cute?
And now that the party is done, the frames can be used to put her other photographs in!
